Dr. Oh Su (William) Nam
I was born in Seoul, South Korea, and moved to Canada at the age of 4 to the Mississauga area where I still currently live and call home. During my youth, I had the privilege of observing my general dentist, and learned how dentistry can have positive, transformative impacts on people’s lives through improvements in appearance, function, confidence and overall oral health. The combination of art, science and medicine to help people and build lifelong relationships is truly a privilege.
I attended McMaster University in Hamilton, where I earned my Honours Bachelor of Science degree. Afterwards, I attended the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry to earn my Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Upon graduating, I decided to practice in underserved communities in rural, Northern Ontario, where I gained valuable hands-on clinical experience and provided care to people of all ages. I am very grateful at the present time to have the opportunity to return to the GTA to live and work.
As a clinician, I want to provide the most current, evidence based treatments that focuses on a comprehensive, patient centered approach that fits each individual’s oral health goals. I am also a firm believer in lifelong learning, and am committed to providing the highest quality of care through continuing education courses and advancements in technology. I am currently a member of the Ontario Dental Association, and registered with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
During my free time, I like to go hiking, explore the outdoors, rollerblade, travel and try out new foods and recipes.
